Christmas Tree Hunting

Hi Everyone!

Last Sunday Mommy and Daddy took me to go hunt down a tree!  We went to this really nice little tree farm not far from our house.  The man there gave daddy a saw and me a tree cart.

  I tried really hard to pull the cart, but it was a little heavy so mommy and daddy took turns. When it was daddy's turn to pull he let me carry the saw, I was very careful and mommy was really impressed.

We had to take a long walk to get the the trees that mommy likes (the short needle ones) and the field was almost empty.  I think that is better for mommy since she has to look at every tree.  I pick out a thought was perfect  but daddy said it still needed to grow, so we kept looking

Finally I picked out a great tree.  It is really tall and fat at the bottom.

I got to help Daddy cut it down with the saw, then he let me push it and say timber!

It was so much fun. Then we had to put it on the cart and pull the cart back to the car.

I did some of it by myself and some of it daddy helped me.

We then put it on the car and brought it home. 

Well I guess trees look smaller at the farm cuz it still took up alot of space in the living room, so much that daddy had to move a chair upstairs.

How fun!  Daddy put the lights on and I helped mommy decorate it.  Lots of ornaments on the bottom :)

I can't wait till santa comes!
