Apples, Pumpkins, oh my

Hi Everyone!  We had a busy busy weekend.  Mommy and Daddy had the day "off" on friday and we got to go to the Apple orchard.  It was so cool.  we got on the tractor and then drove off into the orchard.  Mommy and Daddy said we did it last year, but I didn't remember very well.  Anyway, we got to choose from 3 different kinds of apples pink ones, green ones, and a deep red one (almost black)  I had a blast running from tree to tree pulling the apples off.  You don't want to pick the ones off the ground because they are yucky.  I filled up two bags (10 lbs of apples).  Then we got back on the tractor and when back to the front of the farm, where we saw a ton of pumpkins, so Mommy and Daddy took me to the pumpkin patch.  Wow it was huge and they let me pick out my own pumpkin.  Mommy kept trying to get me to pick one she liked, but I told her they were yucky...  I finally picked out mine and put it in the wagon, which I pulled self...  Mommy picked one out she liked and we went to pay for them.  It was a great day :)  Check out the pictures.

The fun didn't stop there.  When we got home Mommy and I made "sauce" using the apples.  I got to stir it and put water and spices into the pot.  Then it had to cook for a long time, but it smelled good, while it cooked.  You would think that my day was full already,  but Friday night I got to dress up in my costume and go to Daddy's school.  It was so much fun.  I made a goodie bag, got a ghost painted on my face and played in the blow up haunted house.  At first I was scared of the skelton that lived in the house, but by the time we had to leave, I gave him fist pumps.

The rest of the weekend was a beautiful outside kind of weekend.  I had lots of fun running on the course and eating the wonderful applesauce I made.

I think I really love the fall :)
